Is there a good shop in Dallas?

I was wondering if anyone knew of a good shop in the Dallas Ft worth area. I was hoping to have someone give my car a once over and help me develop a plan of attack on it.

Go online and look up the Red River Triumph Club in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Go to their next meeting. Or call a few club officers. Nice people. I know they will be helpful.

Yes, try British Auto Specialists, 2216 Solona Street, Fort Worth. Tell them that Nick from Scotland recommended them and that my TR is still going strong.

I have been very pleased with work done and pricing in Arlington at Sports Car Warehouse.

Welcome to the TR world. As it happens, tonight (11/14) is meeting night for the local Triumph club. Wilhoite's on Main St. in Grapevine. 7:30pm.

Did you purchase the maroon car that has been seen in Dallas? PM sent.

Thanks for the info. Sorry but I am not the maroon car. There is a new green one around town that belongs to a pilot for Southwest.

Paul,
If you do go to British Auto Specialists, please let me know. I bought my TR3 from them 16 years ago and six years later when I visited the USA Jeff, who ownes the shop, organised a car for me to purchase, arranged for me to take a Texas Driving Test and let me use his shop to service the car. He also treated me to several beers and a meal out! That's what I call good after-service. Check out their web site.

I think you've got good advice all around, but I'll chime in and second Nick's comments. Jeff Sloan knows his Triumphs, before it became British Auto Specialists it was TR Sales and Service and had its own collection of TR parts cars (and me right in the middle of them).

I agree with the opinion of Jeff's British Auto Specialists in Fort Worth. I purchased a one owner TR3 from him about 8 yrs. ago for my father and he was excellent to deal with. Jeff had serviced the car since the late 70's, and I don't think that the original owner would have done business with him for that long if it wasn't a great shop.
