TR2/3/3A Is overdrive switch repairable?

In order to make the overdrive switch on dash to fuction, I have to place it in the on position and then lift it up slightly and then downward for the solinoid to engage. Can the overdrive switch be disassembled for repair?
 
You can certainly get it apart. I forget the details now, but I was able to flip the guts over and use the other contact
