Is it really April?

Today is April 7th. And it's snowing like a bugger outside. The main canyon from where I work (Park City) to Salt Lake was down to 1 lane each direction -- this is I-80, a major travel route. My way in wasn't too bad (I come from another direction), but I've got to go down to the city tonight. I'll have to take the wife's 4x4.

It's supposed to be warm. Sunny. Motorcycle/LBC weather. :frown:

Yes I'm whining. Just feels like the warmth will never come. Maybe it's some sort of cosmic reaction to my lack of Tunebug progress...

Snowing like crazy out here in the Valley too Drew.
I don`t know, it isn`t looking good for June to go ATVing {where I`d like to go anyway}. The way this is going it may be late July or August before The last of the snow leaves the trail.
No.Utah has had reocrd snow fall, record water ammounts. If this is what Global Warming does, let er rip! At least we will be able to water our lawn this year.

I am partial to a regular water supply, that's for sure (kinda like regular showers and that sort of thing

). I'd just like to have some good riding weather out there... a new bike in the garage, and I've not ridden it in 2 weeks. Oh well, just have to get focused on finishing the Tunebug.

I rode to the snow gate on Wolf Creek pass 2 weekends ago, and there was still quite a bit of snow up there. Feels more like late February than early April. Blech. I think our summer mountain activities may be more towards the later part of summer this year.

Either that, or it will get warm quick and the Salt Lake valley will be a lake again. Fishing on State Street!

I thought there was a law against snow after Easter :wall:

Snowing here in the Ogden area, but not sticking....

Just finished snowing--for now--an hour ago here in Denver. But we'll take every flake as well after 7 years of drought and one of the driest March's on record!

Daffodils and some tulips showing through the snow, so spring really has sprung. Lawn is really getting green, but no need to start mowing yet--got to delay that as long as possible.

We also need the water, so no one's complaining. Whining, absolutely, but not complaining.

State Street, for those whom dont know. It`s the main drag through S.L.C.. And think Drew was kidding? NOT! I remember it looking like a river well!
Out here where I live { In the Tooele Valley } that particular spring took a babbeling little creek in Settlement Canyon and made a raging torrent out of it leaving a huge deep ravine in it`s wake! As much as i`m anticipating warm weather, I sure hope it doesn`t warm up that fast again this spring!

I can't express my feelings at your day, Ray... no really, this is a civil forum and I can't use those words here.

Saturday morning just east of Calgary...

Funny, I ride on Rt. 80 almost every day (here in NJ).

Weather is cold-ish and rainy here today but it was nice over the weekend.

Saturday I drove my Miata to Millville, NJ (near Cape May) which is about 300 miles round trip, with the top down.

I was going to a meet-and-greet for the ~New Jersey Motorsports Park~ , our new race track in NJ......very nice facility!

Been nice here. High 40's and sunny. I started up the lawn tractor today and will be out tomarrow getting the local RC flying field back into shape.
