I just registered and am not very computer literate. If I do something against the rules please be patient.
I own 2 Jaguars and am currently working on 1972 series 1 XJ6. I also own a 1967 E Type coupe that is a 2+2. i'm anxious to work on the coupe but I have already started on the XJ6 and don't want to mix any of the parts by accident.
I am currently rebuilding the Rocker sill on the left side and the left rear wheel opening. I have removed the interior and carpet on the left side and am currently removing undercoating and rust in this general area. the seatbelt retractor has been removed and I have a second bolt that 3 inches toward the center of the car and about 2" lower that is screwed into a welded nut that looks identical to the nut used for the seatbelt. Does anybody know what this is for?
