Hi Guys,
My name is Mark. I have a 1975 MGB I bought new in California. It has a 1975 chassis number but 1976 engine number and wiring harness. It did have a catalytic converter at one time. It was parked for 15 years. I got it running with headers and a Weber DVG carburetor but my distributor with amplifier attached (75 only) quit. I am replacing it with a Mallory Unilite electronic distributor. 1975 was the first year to have a resistance wire from the ignition to the coil so I should not need a ballast resistor (I think). Here's the question.....has anyone out there converted to this Mallory Unilite distributor?
