Interior Trim

Has anyone purchased interior trim components from Prestige AutoTrim? If so what is your opinion of quality, fit and finish? I am considering their complete interior kit of panels, seat covers and carpet. They offer seat covering in both vinyl and leather. Any comments about other provider interior trim products will also be useful; TRF, Moss, BV, Skinner?

I got my interior panel kit and carpeting from TRF. The quality is pretty decent, although I did have to re-glue the carpet to the cardboard backing on both kick panels this summer as it was coming off. The panels have only been in the car 3-4 years, so I found this a bit strange to happen so quickly. I'll probably get my seat cover kit from them also, so that can get the closest match to the interior panles. Other than that the only thing I'll say is I wish I spent some extra money and got the wool carpet. The nylon is OK, and the quality of the TRF carpet set has been good, but I saw cars at shows with the wool upgrade and it seems well worth the extra money, very nice. I would especially do this if you're considering an upgrade to leather for the seats, go all out and get the best, although the leather upgrade is pretty pricey.

[/ QUOTE ]Hmmm, I'm guessing you never had one of these cars when they were new or at least "current used cars"! Sounds as if the carpet kit you got is a truly authentic reproduction. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

[Sorry, I just couldn't resist saying that, but assembly quality often left MUCH to be desired in 1970s BLMC production!]

A friend with an MGB used Prestige for his interior and has nothing but good things to say for the quality of the interior.

I used TRF for all my interior panels and wilton wool carpet and am very happy with the results. I'll probabbly use them again for my TR-2 restoration.

I Used Prestige for my B interior. I am truly impressed! The quality is great and they are very knowlegeable and easy to do business with. The only downside is that it takes about a month to get your stuff after you order. It comes from England. The prices at Prestige seem to be very good as well. Yes, this is a recommendation.
