Interior Trim question on a '77 midget

I've finally gotten to the point in my rebuild of starting to reassemble the interior. But, I don't remember what covers the "B" pillars? Surely there must have been something, they wouldn't just leave the slots for the plates in the "B" post (that the striker plate screws into) open, did they? Moss doesn't list a trim piece in their interior kit, and I don't seem to have anything "extra" laying around, but I also don't remember them just being painted metal with the slots exposed.

If you're talking about the piece that the latch plate screws go into, I don't have any covering on mine. The weather stripping for the door slips over the lip, and there's a small piece of trim about 1" wide that's part of the weather stripping that faces toward the seatbacks. Hope that helps, and I can get get a picture if that would help more.

I couldn't speak intellegently about it Dave. I wasn't exactly sure where the "B" pillar was. Guess I've learned something.

My 1970 car had vinyl glued on the back of the B-post
