TR2/3/3A interior snaps for a tr3

Some time back Geo post a comment on interior snaps for a tr3 in which there is a snap in the back section to accommodate the cover for the top ribs. Does anyone remember?
 
I'm interested as well - I'm about to fit a hood stick cover, it looks like I have maybe 4 interior snaps to attach the cover, not counting the normal exterior ones.
 
See if these help. The odd one is the guy that mounts on the inside and takes an LTD that is sort of upside down and backwards from the rest:

I add the towel and foam to make the whole thing sit better.
 
The car I'm putting the hoodstick cover on came with lift the dot pegs on the inside - you can see 3 on the inside of the center capping section. Has anyone seen this before on a car, or is from an overzealous restoration? I think they actually might work pretty well if I add snaps to the cover and use it to wrap the hoodsticks completely.

My car does not have those three you show, but does have the one inside that Geo pictured above. Just went looking for my original hoodstick cover, haven't seen it in ages, can't seem to find it. I just have a tonneau, don't use the hoodsticks.

I'm guessing the car above doesn't have the chrome hardware for mounting the hardtop...
 
Sorry - Wrong photo above. See this one. The red trim was new in 1990 but the stick cover is my original one from when I bought my TR3A brand new in 1958.
 
Those extra 3 LTDs may work but could be a bit fiddly getting the stick cover snapped on them with the bows lowered. If the inner-corner ones are in place that inside rear edge is pretty secure.

When (after years of doing without) I finally went to install a stick cover I peeled back the cover from the capping and found the original hole for those 2 LTDs right where S/T left it.
 
I wonder if those inside snaps were someones attemp at having the hood stick cover in place such that they could then add the tonneau without removing the rear stick cover snaps??????
