Interior Exposed Frame Covers

Has anybody used or have any knowlegde of the 4pc set of interior Exposed Frame Sections sold by MOSS? The sections install over the raised frame just in front of the seats and along the bottom section of the engine/trans bulkhead. Also, the SS Door Threshold Plates? I am redoing the interior with new carpet and these look like they may give a better look and hold up better. Any comments?
Thanks,
Magyar

I just placed the SS door sill threshold plates. They are stunning. I used a silicone adhesive left over from a dash top repair piece kit to fix them, although I would imagine any type of sealant adhesive could be utilized.. They are very flat, fit the sill edge perfectly, and look much better than similar ones I've used on my MGB.

I ordered the frame sections you ask about, but they are on back order. I saw some a few years ago at a British Car Show and thought they looked pretty good.

Cheers.

I put them in my 79 a year ago and like how they look and there
is no wear unlike carpet. I did have to do some minor trimming
to have them fit better.

Thanks tao724. I'll order up the threshold plates. What do you think about bending a set of the frame section covers out of the diamond metal that you can purchase at the local Lowes? Doen't seem like there would be any complacated bends, but I never attempted anything like that. Thinking outloud, I guess if they are on backorder, it would be worth a try. I'll let you know how it turns out.

Rik, do they just glue in? Do you have a picture to show what all they cover?
Or a sketch of the cross section. I'm trying to get an idea to try to fabricate a set on my own, and am wondering if the sections have a lip or edge that lays flat on the floor pan or is the edge cut before it meets with the floor pan? I would think you would get a stiffer piece if it had they lip.

Thanks for the response Rik.

I gave up along time ago trying to figure out how to post pictures on here. Email me at home and I can send some photos that were taken while I was installing my interior and before seats were installed.

If someone's interested in a set of the aluminum frame covers, I have a set I'd let go cheap.

They aren't perfect, but I think they'd be perfect with some cleanup. I can take pics if there is some interest.
