Ah none of my cars have bullet holes or any other holes for that matter! Despite the image from TV news, the only shooting I have seen was in NYC, not here.

If anyone is interested in the car, I would be happy to go take a look at it.

Just my perverted sense of humor, apparently gone astray in this case. If that car had been in New York City, it would have gone to a chop shop decades age. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/devilgrin.gif

If I had a garage and some extra $$$ I would probably wind up bringing it home! He is probably trying to sell it out of the country as a result of some problem licensing it locally. It is still under $5k, probably not a bad deal

If it were here for that price, it would be mine.

yes, but if it is not yet licensed then he most likely still hasn't payed the import taxes on it. now those import taxes are ~100% however they are not necessarily ~100% of the actual sales price rather 100% of whatever some office worker decides this rare, one of a kind car is worth. It could be $5000 or $20,000 hard to tell until you apply for the license.

Beyond that, I don't have a garage and if there are "soft points of rot" on the frame, then it is really going to need a frame off restore, and there is no way that I could take that on. But I have been looking for any scenario were I could buy it.
