I love the lines with the sloped rear - then again I do prefer coupes over open top cars.

That's probably what halted the project! :laugh:

It's an early TR4 with the white dash, which I actually prefer. Possibly because the first sports car I ever had was an early TR4 with the white dash. Lots of memories...

The engine in that project is a later version with the long intake and Stromberg carbs...either that or someone converted to the later intake.

I'm not sure when Strombergs came in, but the MossEurope catalog notes the long runner intake kicking in at CT21000ish, so for this car it may be original. White dashes stayed around a while too, my CT30000+ 64 car has one.

Interesting to see how much this one brings - if you don't like the hardtop, the base car looks pretty decent and unmolested.

Yes, I see that you are correct. I thought that intake came later then '63, as I had a '63 which had the short intake. It looks like '63 ran almost to CT29000ish.
