Wedge Installing TR8 engine and trany in Stag

I have a TR Stag with bad engine...no heads....long story. I have access to a TR8 eng and trans. Is there any step by step procedure for installing TR8'stuff' in Stag? Special motor mounts required? Purchase or fabricate?

Has anyone installed a Rover V8 in Stag?

Anyone know where I may obtain heads for Stag?

You may be able to get heads from Teamtriumph.com.
 
Here's a link to a photo gallery of someone who did what you're planning on doing. I don't know how much info you can draw from it, but there may be a way to contact him...

Stag with Rover V8

If you browse BritishV8.org's website you may be able to find more info.
 
Stag clubs will have info on this as well. I know of Stag here in Colorado that has a Rover 3.9 litre in it. Don't remember which transmission it had though. It was also for sale last I knew.
