In the process of installing a non-original oil pressure gauge that Moss sells. Should I prime the tubing with oil prior to making final connection? Concerned with an air bubble that will affect the accuracy of the pressure reading.

I don't think it's necessary or fruitful. Once the engine is shut off, the oil will drain back anyway and you'll have air in there again. I don't think there is enough pressure to matter either.

You do not need to purge the oil line of air. Pressure is pressure regardless of whether it is air or oil.
