Installing dust seals on 16p

I am redoing the braking system on my 63 TR4. I am replacing all the perishables in the system and converting to DOT5. Just repainted part of my firewall. I want to give the conversion every chance of succeeding. If it doesn't work I'll pull it apart again and go back to DOT4. Anyway, once again I found the dust seals a pain to install so I inserted some 1/4" tubing in the bellows to hold them open and make them more ridged, worked great. I may be the last person on the planet that didn't know this trick, but that's ok.

You are not the last person to know this trick, and I spent a couple evenings of frustration trying to get mine on, part of my problem was a bad set of seals, too thick with some flashing on them, I bought a second set that was still a pain to get on but not impossible, or nearly so, like the first set was, good idea to make a not so fun job a little easier.
