Oh my word, what a nice sound.

Baz note how smooth he was and how he slowed to the correct speed for the corners before the corner, just before, then powered through.

Sigh, I want one.
 
I wondered while watching that video if anyone has ever considered running Mini 12" wheels or even 10"ers (if the bolt pattern is right - I don't know if it is!) in events like that. I would think the smaller diameter wheels would give a slight edge in acceleration!
 
That is a rotary powered car that runs in DM (Modified) class. A stock Spridget is HS. As far as tire size goes, I run a 5.38 rear for autcross and that helps a lot for tight courses that drop the power band too low in 2nd.
