I made my own panels for my '59 BN6 100/6 this summer. I could trace my panels for a reference, (they have been fitted but not installed). Also, Bob from NC sent me a tracing of the outerpanel which I still have. You are welcome to them if you're interested. Bob

I guessed on the outer panel based on some pictures I have. a tracing of the upper will work great. it doesnt need to be scale. I am interested how the relief is cut for the door handle. when you made yours did you copy a factory part?

Thanks for all of the help

Kevin, the upper part of the top panel is buried so high up it can't be seen because of the overlap of the outer panel. The handle "notch" does not have to be exact as it is hidden. I made mine by trial and error. Make them as large as possible so they will barely fit into the opening and then fine tune the fit. Haven't tried to make the piece that lines the bottom yet, for that one I'll wait until after the other panels are mounted on the door. A word of caution, if you're going to glue vinyl on the panels, all 3M adhesive is not the same. I've use 08074, 08088, and 08090 and two of them were krap and lost their adhesiveness over time. The one I used for the dash was GREAT. I can find out which one is the good one this week- (they each came from different sources) as I need one more to finish up. Bob

After buying two cans of spray adhesive that didn't work, I got good results from 3M Rubber & Vinyl 80. Price matters on this product. Don't get the cheap one. Also follow the directions closely. Two coats of overlapping sprayed on both surfaces. Allow at least 4 minutes to dry before sticking together.

It never crossed my mind that the over hang of the outer will hide the handle and relief. thanks that make things easier.
Add Loctite Spray adhesive the label reads "Heavy Duty Permanent" to the list of didnt work over time. It set up niceley until the car was in the sun and the radiant heat from the fire wall took its toll. it is now a sticky mess.

thanks for all of your input
