Gents, A quick note. I get some very nice leather/string back diving gloves from English horse/tack cat. Riding gloves are basically the same thing with better reinforced palms (excellent for wrenching a Tr3 at slow speed). $15 to $20 in State Line Tack Cat. Mar 05
Geo, those look pretty serious. I 'borrowed' a pair of my wifes riding gloves and they are really nice for the price - lightweight summer kind. Where is Mt. Lemmon? I'm in Wickenburg.
These are meant to go fishing with?As a driving glove?Would make it easy to flick a B...ER at a fellow! Ol Chap! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/iagree.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grouphug.gif
You also might try tennis gloves (good for driving, half of the fingers are exposed), golf gloves, or bicycling gloves. All of these may be less expensive than gloves made specifically for driving, and just as good.
I use surplus nomex flying gloves. Available at any local surplus store or on the web. They have leather palms and nomex fabric for the rest of the glove.
I like the Mechanix wear gloves. As long as you can find them without the big logos or in neon colors. Sears has the plain black ones on sale occasionaly really cheap (around 10 or 12 bucks)
