When I bought my B the end had been broken off the induction heater. So, when I replaced the original manifold with one from an Austin Marina, I simply left it off. Is This something I should replace? Or is this something the car will be all right without?

Regards John

its something you can do without... though, you ~might~ need to fabricate a spacer to make up for the missing part.

I ~think~ the theory of the induction heater is to heat the air entering the intake, to improve atomization of the fuel. The car should still function fine without it.
