I got some replacement sockets for the low voltage halogen pot lights in our ceiling. The old ones had worn so the bulbs were no longer making good contact. Anyways, only place I could think of to find them was ebay. Ended up buying six, from china (hong kong) for $10 - including shipping! And they came reasonably quick. Mind boggling.

Except they are poisonous and you will now die soon.

You did see where Chinese electrical fixures were killing people, right?

I have bought electronic parts for use here at work from Hong Kong and mainland China off of ebay and was also surprised at how quickly (about a week to a week and a half) that they came. Considering that they are half way around the world from us and there were no shipping charges tacked on, it is quite mind boggling.
