In a Frame Off 72 TR6

Hey, Mike -

Greetings from a former Shreveporter! Grew up there and finally left LA for Tennessee in '90.

Sounds like you've been online here a while, so I'm sure you know there are plenty of folks ready, willing and able to offer advice and, of course, commiseration regarding your project. Looking forward to seeing whatcha got!

Mickey

Hi Mike. Glad you joined the BCF. I completed a total frame-off restoration of a ‘73 TR6 a couple of years ago.
Head over to the Triumph section and post any questions you have... you’ll find plenty of help.

Thanks guys!

Current status Engine at machine shop getting bored +.020, and head shaved to 9.5:1 after boring, balanced with 7 lbs out of flywheel. Had my rockers redone at Rocker Arms Unlimited. Look great.

Frame repaired, reinforced and powder coated. Frame hanging from shop ceiling now with body on rotisserie getting prep'ed for a session with a local dustless blaster!

Welcome to the forum Mikeria! So my evil plan to get you to post worked!

Seriously thought, I hope that won't be the only reason you have to post! You'll find we are a real community hear with lots of great, helpful folks and we strive to be a friendly, welcoming place!
