lives with me!!

My back muscles seized up on me almost 2 weeks ago and I've been "toast" ever since. The last parts shipment for Ellie, our '71 MGB showed up and Carla spent all of today, by herself, being an MGB mechanic. She pulled the rear transmission flange, installed the new driveshaft, repaired/wrapped some wires under the chassis, repaired the passenger seat and bolted it in, put the rear tires/wheels back on, took the car off the jack stands, and test drove her. All went well!! I REALLY love her!!

Awesome! and if I wasn't (happily) married, I might be enquiring if she had a sister.

Let's see. Kentucky to Seattle-650roundtrip
A few days of food- 400

It's a deal

One word defines her: keeper!

You better be ordering her some flowers or whatever it is she loves (aside from you that is).

And I think you two should celebrate. A night out in the car and a fancy dinner.

Definitely a keeper, very impressive. I think my wife knows what a wrench is, but I can't be sure...

You,sir, are a lucky man.

Never let her forget how much you appreciate . . . :yesnod:

I wouldn't be trading her in!

Your lucky!

Mine burns water and
thinks the smoke detector
in the kitchen is the timer.

But I would not trade my bride in either.

I can relate, Gary. 'smits can turn a pretty mean wrench as well.

Seeing how were rightfully bragging about our better half's, I'll do a little bragging also. Even though I did all the dirty work, a lot of credit building this car goes to my wife Sandy. Here she is installing the chrome strips on her 72 after she installed all the buttons. She also installed all the lights along with the wiring. She wired most of the dash and helped me install the engine. PJ

Sorry about the florescent lightning washing out the color.

Here she just won a first place.

Married to this lady for 54 years and very proud of her!

Paul...you're one lucky guy too!! Congrats on 54 years of marriage to an obviously wonderful lady.

Thanks Gary, Yup, I'm another lucky one!

And, she's a great cook also!

Carla is also a great cook. You and I have a lot in common!!
