I've had cats who HATED being bathed and cats who thought it to be a joy. One even posed, chest out, and purred as we used the hair dryer on her after her bath. They're all different. Each has a personality. Some would follow you to Hades, others will look at you and absolutely sneer at any effort you make to befriend 'em. They can be protective and loyal to a fault or as aloof as a stranger in a train station restroom.
In short, cats are amazing. Get to know 'em. All they're looking for is a solid, trusting partnership.
