Rain - a Beatles Tribute - is coming to my town in May and I'm definitely getting tickets! I've seen "1964 The Tribute" twice and they are great, but I've never seen this group. From what I see on You tube, they look to put on a very good show!

Each album will feature the track listings and artwork as it was originally released in the U.K. and come with expanded booklets including original and newly written liner notes and rare photos. For a limited time, each of the Fab Four’s 12 proper albums will be “embedded” with a brief documentary about its making. The rereleases will include the Beatles’ 12 studio albums and Magical Mystery Tour as well as Past Masters Vol. I and II, which will be packaged as one collection. All 14 discs will be available with DVDs of the documentaries in a stereo box set, and a set titled The Beatles in Mono featuring 10 discs will also be released."

<span style="color: #3333FF">We just got back from the show "Rain, a Beatles Tribute" - wow, great! One thing I noticed is that the guy who plays Paul played the Bass left handed, but all the YouTube videos I've seen he plays it right handed. He did, however switch to right-handed guitar when playing a regular 6-string guitar (like for Yesterday). He must have taught himself to play the bass left-handed for realism sake.

If you get a chance to see them, I recommend it. They are not as "close" to the Beatles as another group I've seen - "1964 The Triubute" but they were pretty darn good and their production was out of this world! They started the show with a re-creation of the Ed Sullivan set from the Beatles Feb 9, 1964 appearance. They even had an Ed Sullivan look-alike to introduce them! After several early numbers they progressed to the Rubber Soul era, then Sgt Pepper, the White Album and Abby Road! The pretty much covered all the bases!</span>

Ain't technology great? I think I have about 300 VHS movies and you can't even find a decent VCR around anymore. About $100 for a cheap one. And you can get a dvd player for about $30. And you can't even sell "well taken care of" VHS tapes. Arrrrggghhhhhh.

The only tribute band I have seen live was "1964 - The Tribute" when they performed at a company dinner years ago in Minneapolis, along with the Beach Boys. That was a great meeting...
