Walked the dog twice.
I cut the grass.
I edged the drive and steping stones.
Gave the fuel tank another coat of black paint.
Washed and cleaned about half the items that are ready to go. Had a bit of dust and grime from the last six months in some cases.
Called 4 vendors and got em going, I do a bit of consolting.
Posted this and it is not 11:00 AM yet. Gesh.

Maybe I need to vacume the truck. Did the outside yesterday.
And a nap is in order this afternoon as well I am sure.

See told you I was bored.

Serves you right. You should have done the bodywork yourself, then you wouldn't be having this problem.
;-)

I need to do all of the things that you've already done today. Instead I'm impatiently awaiting my vacation which begins Friday. Taking the new MINI Cooper S to Colorado. Looking forward to getting her in the twisties. My Midget will be lonely next week.

Jack - have you and the misses (the wife, not Agatha!) been for a day trip in a while? Think this is a good oportunity for some quality time with 'the other woman in your life' before the body gets out of the shop. That way you can eat, sleep and play in the garage once it's back! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Rob's right...you don't want to forget the "better half". Gotta have some "balance".

In the last fews weeks, we've been to Ellis Island, The Statue of Liberty, ~The Grounds For Sculpture~ and Washington's Crossing.
(I'd include Washington's Headquarters, but we go by that almost every day anyway /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/jester.gif ).

Type "florida travel" into Google....you'll see lots of nice day trips.

By the way, my race car has "Thanks Linda!" painted in 1" letters on the back....can't hurt!

Hey and if you're still bored, I've been under my race car all day (getting the suspension spacers set up so it sits nice and level).
And I've been noticing how *dirty* the bottom of my car is.
If you ever want to come up and "detail" all the hardware under my car, come on up! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

yea, talk about a dirty underbelly, mine not only has the engine and trans leaks, but also 1" of spray on underbelly goop thanks to the PO. One of these days I'll clean it off (since i'm in the desert sout west), has to be worth 50-70lbs at least!

Jack - can I send you a bunch of parts for you to clean up? I'd hate to see remain bored - just tyring to help a fellow out. LOL.

Jack:

The day trips with the better half sounds like a good idea, because when the other woman comes back, you will be plenty busy.

Patrick

Heh, I even do better than that, we went to Belgin and Holland for two weeks since I started this. Off to Atlanta in Oct for a week with the daughter scheduled as well.

Have over half a million air line miles for free tickets at the moment. Wife loves Europe and picks the nicest places to go and things to do.

how about writing up some "how to's" for the knowledge base?...thatd keep u busy AND inside where it cool ; )...zzimmmmmy

Guess I might do that but how do I add something to the knowledge base?

Comes to mind most immideately.

How to remove and replace front springs, quick and dirty.
How to refill an armstrong shock.
How to remove a stearing wheel and retain your teeth.
How to remove a fuel tank.
Posi vs philips.
How to bleed your clutch and brakes.

Must be 20 others, jump right in guys.

Look out - Jack's post numbers are about to jump quantumly!

I got a tube shock conversion, front and rear, that you're more than welcome to come up and complete. With my schedule, and the fact I having too much fun driving, wont get done till winter. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif
