Bought a new trailer from Harbor Freight, $249.00. Assembled it and added a ground wire to the lights $2.00. Added a 3/4 inch exterior plywood deck $39.00. Bought 4 tie downs with rachets. $12.00. Grand Total $302.00.

Trailer is rated for about 1259 lbs according to the sticker on it.

Guess what I have, a tub or roller trailer. Think a fullup Bugeye would be a bit much. Oh yea, trailer tilts as well.

When I am finished with it in about a year, I am sure I can sell it for $400.00 any day of the week.

Lookout Jolly comming at ya on the 28th. Only lack an oil change on the truck.

What's the HF part numbers?

It is called a Haul Master

Harbor Freight #42709, shows as #900 capacity but sticker on fender shows 1450 lbs max payload.

Shoot, 1450 is just about enough for the whole car! I'd take a look at any structural weak points, guset/reinforce them and use it as an auto hauler....

When I went to the site there was a pop up window for part #92622-2VGA. 1175# cap and it's $249.99.
Part #42709 comes up as the 990# cap and is $214.99. Hmmm.
What did they get you for shipping?

When I clicked on the #92622 description another window popped up advertising this for $219.99.
I wish Ebay had MG's for sale with pop up windows like this. The price keeps going down!

I drove an hour away and picked it up.

That's prpbably how you saved a ton.

Today I put the 3/4 inch exterior plywood on with bolts as well. Is really strong. But first I stained the deck Walnut. Hehe, just happened to have a can of that, wife says it is a super fine looking trailer. That's the final test in my book. Off to get it registered.
