Miss Agatha is finaly in and out of the paint booth all this week. Looks like as many as nine coats of various stuff hand blocked between most and buffed at the end.

Here I am and there she is. What a poor excuse that is for a concerned father.

Oh learned something, if you send an email to Tony do not be cute with the subject, he has filters. Just call it British Parts or some such and it will pass. Do feel free to give him a bad time in the body though he has no filter for that. LOL /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/devilgrin.gif

You're getting close to the big moments with Ms Agatha, Jack. Very exciting. Now comes the hardest patience test of them all. Hopefully you'll have good pictures to post soon.

I'll be over there Thursday to take photos, Jack, because I'm dropping my newly acquired (Wednesday) factory hardtop off to be painted Vermillion Red!

I have to have filters as I receive well over 200 emails a day - just this morninig 254 went into spam folder!

Ohhhh, red hardtop, cool.

Oh, ment to ask, what color is the TD going to be, let me guess, green?

Jack, do you have a cigar ready for the 're-birth'? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

No but I drank a bottle of wine at dinner with son and wife last evening and I have stayed in a Holiday Express.

Jack, Ricky (our painter) came by my shop Saturday to give me a price on doing my '53 TD - it goes in after Miss Agatha! So, I want her done & gone as badly as you - hehehehe

I don't have much left to take off in preparation for end of October when he gets it (gas tank & disassemble radiator shroud so he can do the grille slats & a couple more things on firewall):

What color Tony, green??

No, a real soft cream color - much lighter than Primrose Yellow...was a factory color for that year.

Ohhhhh.

this colour?

That is nice.

that belongs to Dean Sprague former president of the Central Florida MG club. His father bought it - not new - but as I recall one year old. Been in the family ever since

That's the color!! But I've already redone my leather in a tan color.....the green does look nce though!
