IIA Tranny help

I am working on the tranny of a series LR. This is a “Suffix E” version. The link below to the photos of the 3rd & 4th Synchronizer Assembly show some of the teeth on the teeth towards 3rd gear are considerably thinner than the ones facing the 4th. I checked a “Suffix B” box, and the teeth show the same pattern. They don’t appear worn, just thinner on two quadrants of teeth. Is this normal?

Any help is appreciated.

My guess is they did that on purpose to match the hub the teeth slide into. As long as the synchonizer hub matches the teeth on the gear you're okay. Been a LOT of decades since I had any Rover transmission apart.
Check the mating teeth for matching gears.

Looks like the wear is good. If it shifted and stayed in gear, would not worry about it.
