Is it done? Don't you sand/paint/sand/paint? What's the procedure?

I meant the color thing. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbsup.gif

So'z that the primer? ~ducks J.B.s swing~
Looks good. Can't wait to see it start to come togeather.

Perhaps I need to get off my butt and order top, carpet, door panels, seat kits etc. etc. etc. ad nauseum?
/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I'm not getting in this one - nice color, Jaynel.....lemme know where I can help

Red right? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/devilgrin.gif

Red. Has always been red.

Top, carpet, seats are coming from Prestige unless something drastic changes or I can get samples from Moss. Not sure about door panels yet. Need a hub thingie for the steering wheel, gauges (or these refurbished and calibrated or whatever), need wheels & tires.

Oooh and I get to build an engine soon!

Life is good!

The engine building is the fun part - aside from the first time you get to drive it. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

All that angst for a grey car??? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/devilgrin.gif

Does look good - I know you're glad it's done. Now, enjoy!

Re: ihavepaintihavepaintihavepaintihavepaintihavep

Naaa, I don't think that will ever be a car. Just look at it it's nakeeeeeddddd.

To be honest I am haveing a hard time with the color, need to see some chrome and such setting it off. Sure glad you made it this far, the job they did looks really nice.

Re: ihavepaintihavepaintihavepaintihavepaintihavep

I'm jealous Jaybird - my resto has been sidetracked by home improvement (once again) Just had new siding and windows put on the house, now the wife's got me building flower boxes and a new deck for the back {SIGH} maybe I can get back to it before the summer's gone ....

Seriously - Congratulations, it looks great and I know the best part is yet to come! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbsup.gif

JB what can I say, wow!! with the red, (chrome?) wire wheels and trim I think you'll have a pretty special old girl (boy?, to fellas the big playthings always seem to be girls and to the ladies they seem to always be guys). /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cheers.gif

What's the overall eta?, still on schedule?, be very cool to see photos of the completed car before I leave for Brazil (only a month to go today....) /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shocked.gif
