How many feet of ignition wire do I need for a BE?

I didn't buy mine by the foot but it couldn't have been more than 4 feet of wire in the kit I had. Get 5 and you should be fine. Remember, solid core.

Don't forget that you've got the coil to dizzy wire to replace also. You can't stretch it when it's too short so buy 6 feet or more. It's better to have a little extra than not enough.
