Ignition light

Make sure the wires to the alternator are connected. Sometimes the terminals are loose. It could be the alternator is not functioning. I bought a replecement generator a few years ago that was broken. The parts guy was surprised but I guess that happens. T.T.

Check the simple things first, drive belt tight, electrical connections correct and tight. If that doesn't solve the problem, you should remove the alternator and have it tested. Many large auto parts stores can bench test an alternator, usually free of charge. Check around in your neighborhood for a place that can do this for you. I my area Checkers and NAPA offer the service.

Safety Fast,

Prince of Darkness, hear us now. We beseech thee to be kind to this poor new soul, lest he become discouraged and abandon LBC ownership.
Can I hear an "Amen"?
