I found several Used linde VI 400 mig welders with warrentees on the net up for auction at $800.00 each. Man If I only had 3 phaze current in my garage!
I used one of these welders back in the late 80`s for an extended period of time, WHAT A M.I.G. WELDER! That puppy would flat burn some wire. I can distinctly remember running the IPM at 6 and sometimes even 7 with .035 wire and 75/25 mix. That machine had good inductance and would run with very little spatter, usualy it would just "frost" the nozzle. If I was doing heavy fab work I would deffinately go after one.
It would not be the M.I.G. to get for body work tho.
