TR6 Idle change when brake is pressed

Power brakes? There may be a vacuum leak in the booster when the brake pedal is pressed.

Agree with Tom. Any more than a quick momentary change in idle soeed would suggest a problem with the brake booster.

Yes Brake booster if it were the line would be a different problem. Check this at idle remove the valve cover oil cap and what does the RPM do it might be the same as your brake peddle does I would guess
