Not much of a picture, but it's what I have. This picture would have been taken in 1978 or so. We called it the "little yellow Datsun" for obvious reasons, but I'm not sure what model it was.

And yes, that's me with the lunchbox, at age 6.

Drew, That is a Datsun 1200 sedan
Google it. Pretty cool car even today

Dave :savewave: Neat picture

Also known as the B110 in Japan and the Nissan Sunny in other markets. This is definitely a Datsun 1200 sedan

Its a Datsun.

and it probably should have been called the "little brown Datsun" as it seemed to be biodegrading fairly quickly.

Thanks for the ID, Dave. Will have to do some Googling on the car now.

Rhode Island winters (and the associated road salt) were never kind to cars.

And how long does it take for you to go to CA and bring this home?
That is a cool car, as I said before, google images and you will want to own a Datsun 1200

Dave :driving: Always enjoy the ride

Spent some time looking over my lunch break today. Neat little things, with the nostalgia tie in to boot. But, I'm a one-car-at-a-time guy, and the MGB isn't going anywhere anytime soon.

I had a 1200 - way back when.I was dissapointed in how
tinny the sheetmetal was.Paid $500 for it,& sold it for $1200
to the first person who looked at it.
I have a '78 B210 that I'm "restoring" right now.It seems
to me to be a big improvement over the 1200.
