Cute but not really my sp... <Err?> style. I like my German Cars with four wheels and a V8 under the bonnet!

I think I could get at least one (or maybe two) in my garden shed.

Heck thinking about it - I bet you could put in the bed of most trucks & use it as a spare if you ever got a flat tire. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wink.gif

Lawnmower for sale!

Wonder what driving one is like, looks like fun, it would be a blast to drive through Manhattan.

They are fun in an odd sort of way, like bob-sledding on the street, or like riding an enclosed bike with no leaning into the corners (it has handlebar steering)! The passenger sits in there just like in a bob-sled too!!

Definitely this idea was conceived before the Autobahn.

I've seen those up close. They are neat. I'm told the canopy design utilized the molds they used when they built WW II aircraft.

I'm a fan of Isettas, Gogomobiles, Autobiachis, Vespas and all the other little microcars too.

~THIS~ is one of my favorite Isetta pictures.

Those little Messerschmitts are a blast....they made a four-wheeled version with a bigger engine named the Tiger. Think power-to-weight ratio here, those little things could fly! Two-stroke motors, and the ability to out-corner a Mini!

One of my biggest helpers right now has in his basement a Ford Prefect/ Bond Bug/ Older Bond/ Vespa truck/ Lloyd/ Trabant/ Niva Truck/ etc. The advantage of microcars.

We must have been the only country that required the back seat during those crazy drive-in theater days!!!..

I just had to dig out this old pic /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif ! Looked too much like a cyclops home-built!! This was my first attempt at building a vehicle at 9-10 years old. I am driving (RHD)!! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/devilgrin.gif
