Clutch pedal engages about 1/2 way down and works very well. In fact better than it ever has, smooth shifting and nice release no drag shifting at all.

So why the half pedal? Wrong size slave cylinder rod? Needs to be longer? Of course being the pack rat i am I have em in all sizes.
 
Before you work on the slave area you should look at the amount of play that there is before the "peddle rod" touches the piston in the master cylinder. You can adjust that rod
