Skill but must be some lunacy in there as well.

I rode a motorcycle for a few years an would scrape the foot rests occasionally but this is pushing it to the limits.

I can view it by clicking on the "Watch on You Tube " bar at the bottom left. The arrow in the middle did not work for me.

Here is more lunacy. Imagine how disorienting turning your head almost upside down so you can drag your helmet on the ground. Happens at 1:10 into the video. Oh and wearing a ghillie suit while doing it.

Bike racing wearing a ghilli suit? Seems the drag coefficient would be significant. Although it doesn't seem to hamper the guy's performance!

Lunacy, indeed!

MotoGP is insane. I've been following Valentino Rossi since his beginning days - and current downward trends. If you google "lap between Rossi and Jorge Lorenzo", Spain, I guarantee entertainment (or your money back), you will be entertained. Insanely awesome.

I have always found this quite interesting as to how they are able to do this. Then someone pointed out that when they are over like that there is a greatly increased area of tire contact. The tires are V-ish shaped and when they lean over the side of the tire becomes the contact area instead of just the "point" of the V. So my engineer brain can appreciate this but the rest of my brain says that's CRAZY!!!!!!! :D
