Supposed to arrive here around noon.
Literally saved from the scrapper!

More details to follow - and pics of course.

Be careful... your family and friends may stage an intervention.

Excellent! Good that another one will get saved.

I could be investing all my money in Kentucky Bourbon, I'm thinking they should be glad Ive got the LBC addiction and not something potentially (albeit questionably) less healthy!

Oh, and for anyone counting this makes five...

Nicely done!

Another 'project'????

Nice stable.

Oh yes, gotta have some projects you know...

Oooooh.....looks like fun! I want to buy a shell one day and build it from the ground up. Good luck with it when you unwrap it!

and no way your wife will notice that brown "wrapper" in the backyard - and if she does just tell her it blew in with the winter wind!

Looks fairly solid, Rick. Your son doesn't look all that enthusiastic about it though!

Kurt.

Haha......no wife, so no need to make up excuses (but I'll remember this one if that changes). :cooler:

Leave it on the trailer, haul it to Marysville, have it media blasted!

He's thinking, " ~GREAT DAD ~, ~just~ what I wanted to do, ~MORE~ wet sanding!"

heh heh heh

Surprised anyone could see the pictures as I hadn't unlocked the folder.
Fixed now.

That son isn't very interested in cars at this point, maybe when he gets a little older.

On the other hand, when I mentioned learning to weld Peter got very excited!

Rick, Congrats on the new acquisition. I sent another note to the guy who has the BE I've been promised and he has been working to get title paperwork issues resolved for almost a year now. Made some room in the garage to drag it home but so far he hasn't said come and get it. Hopefully this one will follow me home soon.

BTW - Last titled in 1979, all of the bits are there and it's been inside for the last 15 years. Originally Iris Blue w Blue Interior.

There is a Bugeye roller in Lake Shasta City, CA, and a later Sprite that is complete, been sitting out in the yard for years. They guy wants them gone, in case anyone is interested.
