Sometimes the phishing emails can be hilarious. I git this email (in my junk folder). Had to laugh.

ATTENTION: Are you aware? I’d like to confirm if you are dead or
alive? The reason for this question is because we received an email
from Mrs. Linda Gilbert, she told us you are dead and that you have
given her a signed letter of Authorization before your death? she also
told us that you are her elder relative and that you died on the 23rd
of April, 2021 and was buried on the 2nd of May, 2021. Furthermore, we
told her the reason why you are yet to receive your fund of ($45.5)
million usd is because of the delivery fee which is a sum of $100 usd
only and this fund have been approved to be delivered in your favor.
We actually asked her to call back on Monday, so that we can confirm
from you first to know if you are aware of this, let us know if all
these stories are true, and failure to hear from you would actually
prove to us that this story about your sudden demise is real.

It still amazes me that people actually respond to these phishing emails. Do they actually, really, think they are legitimate?
 
Well if you are still alive then you better let them know before they send all that money to me.
 
The first part of that phishing email sounds like a conversation my wife had with me the other day… :smile:

I doubt that "Are you even listening" is the start of the conversation. It's probably started a bit before. :smile:
 
Here's one I got this afternoon. This one lets you know that ~other people~ are trying to scam you BUT you can trust THEM.... They are the REAL Government Bank Officials :ROFLMAO:
