well today not much, I got the wiring harness, seats, and thte plastic trim along the base of the top off, I started to pull the carpet, but its starting to rain. I kinda had to destroy the bolts holding the seats in, but since the floorpan is rusty on the passenger side, all of that will be replaced. I can't understand the reasoning behind having the two front bolts put in one way, but the rear to be removed another way, in fact the driverside came out the same way, it was just the two rear bolts on the passenger side that were jacked. anyway, like I said not much done in account of the weather, so hopefully tomorrow will be better. I'll get the carpet out and then maybe start on getting the transmission out.
 
The seat rails used studs on the front (5/16) and 1/4" bolts in the back. This makes it easier to get them in with the later seats.
 
actually I was thinking now that I have seen what the seats are, I may just ut in completly different seats, cause there is just too much corrosion, and they just aren't worth it to me to refurbish. so keep your eyes peeled, I may offer them up later on unless I can find a replacement seat that I may like and can afford. replacement MG seats are just way too expensive.
 
Don't think new, think used. Anyone with a parts car is going to have extra seats.
