I read the particulars on the e-bay offering of a 100-M and in it was stated that there only about 70-100 certified M's. I questioned the seller on this and his response was that this was according to Bill Meade's guidelines. For whatever reason I thought there about 300 accounted for. I'll wait for the experts to weigh in on this. I'd be happy with the lower number but I really want to know.

In the 9-10/05 Austin Healey Magazine (issue dedicated to the 100M Golden Anniversary), Bill Mead wrote "....As of this writing, the Registry believes that there may be no more than 150 to 175 of the original factory-built cars still in existence. Presently, 133 factory-built 100M cars are registered along with 111 LeMans-converted cars."
