TR2/3/3A I need some info on broken TR2 Lockheed axles.....

I know these early Lockheed axles are pretty fragile...can anyone shed some light (and maybe pix) of where they break most often?

The one in TS1203LO looks like it belongs in a golf car...it really is light duty !

I have an idea on how to improve these units...but I'd like a little background info.

BTW...In that Jabekke TR2 video posted earlier this week I LOVE the part where they are changing a broken Lockheed axle!....
