TR2/3/3A I need a shove???

That looks great, if it's as good as it looks you will have a head start on anything I have ever done.

Do as much of the work as you can. You may not get the same results as a pro but you'll save a ton of money, know the car inside out and have pride in it when you finally finish it and get it on the road. Most of the experts on this Board have been where you're going and are generous with their advice. All you need are some good tools, a strong back (or a willing helper) and the workshop manual. If in doubt, farm it out - like the paint and bodywork and internal engine and gearbox stuff unless you're experienced or want to learn by making mistakes - the only true teacher. Good luck and keep posting.

Congratulations Russ ! From that picture, it looks as if you are starting at the "fun stage" . Please post more when you get her home.

You're in Sarasota? I'll be heading for Venice via the Autotrain in 3 days. We've got many friends in Sarasota. Perhaps you can send me an email or a PM. I'd like to check out your project and maybe give you some help or advice as an original TR3 owner from 1956.

If you have an itch scratch it. I am finishing a TR-3 restoration right now of my very first car (yes I kept it 48 years). Guess what I am then going to start, another TR-3 restoration. I now have 3 in total. I am 65. These are about as simple a car as you could ask for in a first tiime restoration. They are basically erector sets. They bolt apart and bolt together. I can't think of a part that is not available. It will be easier now that a few years from now! GO!
One thing you absolutely do not want to do and that is be laying there in a casket and have your kids say Dad always wanted to restore a car, I sure wish he had of...............you will also find tremendous knowledge and help on this forum.

Thanks to all for your words of encouragement. I can't wait to get her home and see what I really bought. In the mean time, my eyeballs are sore from watching restoration videos on YouTube.
