We just bought a 2010 Ford Fusion from an auto broker,
in South San Francisco. We noticed a "hay smell" when we test drove it.
My Wife decided to change the cabin filter,& then came in the
house, asking me to finish the job.
I went out & found a dead mouse,& about 2-1/2 gallons of fur/-
nesting material. It took about two hours to clean out,but still have a smell
lingering. Now to figure out how to get rid of the smell.
This is what I found:View attachment 47636View attachment 47637
I call the auto brokers,& told them about the problem. The warranty
we got was for 5 days/200 miles. We put over 275 miles on it driving home. They're
going to send us a $100 Amazon gift card, which is better than nothing. They could have
said that the warranty was expired,& there wouldn't be much we could do about it.
Amazon's supposed to have products to get rid of the smell.
Ants,wrecked cars,leaking roof,& car projects - I need a boring year!
