I may be about to buy another Sprite...

I found another Sprite ('66 MkIII) sat slowing rotting on a driveway about 15 minutes from my house. I'd been past it a couple of times during the day, but there was nobody home. Went past it earlier and there was another car on the driveway, so I knocked on the door and introduced myself. Enquiring what the plans were for the car I was informed that it was set to go on Ebaywithin the next few weeks. Apparently the car was restored about 15 years ago, but was the wifes before the divorce 8 years ago and has been left ever since. All the numbered parts are the originals, so it would be ideal for a nut & bolt resto. The owner was part way through dinner, and I had an appointment, so have arranged to go back after the weekend to get the numbers off the car. A heritage check will reveal whether it's original, if it is I have been given first refusal before it goes on Ebay...
It will be nice to have a RHD to go with my LHD- like extravagant bookends!

DO IT!!!

Wow, I never saw cars sitting like that when I was in the UK. That was a good find. Do you have garage space for it? I only saw maybe 2 dozen spridgets in 2 years there. Of course I lived in the fens of east anglia in farm country.

Not too surprising in the Fens, don't they still use the term "horseless carriage" out in the boonies? Haha, just kidding! Yeah I was surprised the first time I saw it too, almost crashed the car craning my neck round for the double take!
My garage will house a Sprite comfortably, but as I currently have one in there it will be resigned to the driveway for a bit. There's plenty of space on there: I've got 6 cars at the mo and figured I could get upto 15 with some precision parking!

This may be a dumb question but I take it you have pictures posted of this, where are they? how do I open them? I have noticed this on several topics but don't see an attachment.
Help, I love pictures

Mark

The one I'm thinking of getting? Will take some pics when I get the numbers off the car
