The September issue, page 66.I was reading the article,
and then saw my name,& Jim Gordon's too (another BCF member).
It was written by Tom White, who lives in Washington.
I spotted his car at the radiator shop near here, found
out that he'd had problems with his radiator on his gorgous BRG MGB GT,that had just been restored.
I contacted Jim,who had a used radiator that he'd loan
Tom.He even delivered it to the radiator shop. What a guy!
I like to see people help each other out like that.

I thought that was you in the story. Well done.

Doug, when I bought my Anglia years ago, it came with some poor photocopies of the English Ford owners club publications. You were in those too.... Imagine my suprise to find the guy in those was in fact you. Guess you show up in all the right places.

I'm a nobody - I was happy to see the MGB GT recognised.

He's even shown up HERE, Jesse! :jester:

I currently don't subscribe to any magazines, but I've been strongly leaning to signing up for that Hemmings one. I have a few older passed on to me, and really like the variety of stuff they cover. that, and my friend Paul Mayo with his Testarossa was in there earlier this year in an article about a local "Art of Ferrari" show in Corning.
That's cool Doug. now I need to go to Barnes and Nobel and get a copy.

Tom White is in our chapter of the MG club in Seattle and was unbelievably impressed with you and Jim! He talks about how helpful and friendly you guys were! He said that your actions "made the trip" for him!
We heard the story when he first came back from Napa.

Isn't that how we should be,helping each other out when we can?
I was just a small player in that thing.

Way to go, Doug. I read that story.....

Hemmings Sports & Exotic Car has taken top spot in my reading list. I've read it from day one, and as long as they keep the format the way that it is I'll continue to subscribe.
