Hey, come on now. He spelled MG correctly. We knew what he meant.

I can't count the number of times back in the day when LBC's were more numerous on the road that I stopped bacause an MG was on the side of the road - as you backed up on the shoulder, you mentally reviewed what you had in the car to utilize as the Magic Tool to make the MG go again.

Both marques suffer from a lot of the same maladies. Blame it on SU, blame it on Lucas, it's often NOT the mechanical bits that left either car on the side of the road on a rainy dark night.

The Model Y was the first Ford Manufactured at the Dagenham England plant. Prior to this, english Fords were American Fords shipped CKD to an assembly plant. The Model Y I have pictured is a one-off car, customised for the Earl of Suffolk's gamekeeper. They are a small car powered by a 933cc flathead 4. True, it is a fun little car. I have a write up from the Model Y Register that I could post somewhere for anyone interested.
