While in the Air Force I had an E-4 as the NCOIC of the Still Photo Department, the guy had been in service for close to twenty years and never got above E-5... his misuse of the language was no comedy routine, he was in earnest with his malapropisms: Sent his photos to the "Still photo suppository in Arlington" and used an "eight-by-ten floormat camera"!!
