Guess who got pulled over tonight acting a fool in the Alfa (Nope it wasn't me!)

I'm not sure what it is about that Alfa...we are out enjoying a beautiful day when kids pull up beside us and begin to act STOOPID...so, when the light changed...David hit the gas, the kid tried to keep up and we blew right past a him (and a cop!)

BUSTED!!!

What to do? David just pulled over to the side and waited for her to catch up.
He got out, explained what happened and she just said, "SLOW DOWN!"

If I'd been driving he would have been posting bail! .

Some people are so lucky!

BTW- The Stoopid kid tried to duck around and hide behind Starbucks so we pointed out where he went as evidence. Last we saw, she was waiting on him to pull out!

<SNORK!>

Sooo many stories... most I won't tell.

Alfas are under-rated. :laugh:

I like to have fun with people who try to keep up with me around twisty country roads. Do they have the bottle or don't they?

Ian! There's a 'spot' on Route 100 goin' south outta Pottstown/Perkiomen, PA where it makes a wild uphill left/right to detour a church... I was in the Elan goin' thru the last stop sign before this kink when some child in a GM something (ISTR a GTO) begins romping it and hitting the brakes JUST before hitting ME in the arse, repeatedly... I knew the road (and he SHOULD have) and sprinted off to the church as quickly as I could. Fool took th' bait and gave chase. Instead of backing out in time, he THOUGHT he could hang with my li'l poopshaker. To his credit he didn't crash ~straight~ into the stone wall at the first turn, just a LOT of crunching metal on his outboard side. The right turn got him tho. He tried to follow the Lotus and instead went hurtling off the road into a graveyard full of granite. Lots o' sparks and more crunching of metal. I stopped and backed up, he was reefed on a headstone. The guy climbed out and seem'd to want to do more than converse so I left.

Ooops. :devilgrin:

Route 282 from Downingtown up to Route 82 is also great sport.
