Last year I was contacted by National Geographic that they were publishing a book on small American towns, and they had found one of my photos on Flickr. They asked to use the photo in this book. Earlier this week I received a box with several copies of the hard cover book, "Small Towns U.S.A." and my photo of the main street of Cooperstown New York was a full page in the book. I wish I could tell my grandfather who had a major collection of the yellow National Geographic magazines in his home, and who got me started in photography, even though he died when I was 8 years old. He and my parents who helped get me started traveling would be so proud to know their little boy was published. If you see this book in a book store, please turn to page 74 to see my photo.
