Does anyone have a rear engine to backing plate gasket they can scan and email me. I know it would have to be scaned twice because of its size.

Dumb me I should have made copies of all the gaskets when I last got a set.

I can do it first thing in the morning. Give me a Moss number so I make sure I'm scanning the right thing.

I don't see it listed in the Moss catalog.

It is quite large has the hole for the oil pump cover (round) and a cutout below for the crank (three sided).

Tis the largest of the gaskets on the engine. Comes as part of the engine bottom end gasket set.

Goes between the engine block and the backing plate.

And I surely do appreciate your effort.

Yes, Moss Europe, hehe #27

Thanks guy.

Thanks Ray, got it. Your wife did good. I know which one is the 948, what is the other 1500 maybe?

Thanks again, going to go play cutouts now.

Again really appreciate. Next time I buy a gasket set I will make copies first.

Gasket cut and fits well. All good, waiting on new brazed backing plate tomorrow.

Note to self: never ever buy and use gaskets without makeing copies of them first. Other than cork and head ones of course.

I actually had a lady in the reproduction department of an engineering/architecture firm I use to head scan and send those to you. I discovered at the last minute this morning that I had two that were almost identical but not quite. Thought I had better send both of them. Glad it worked out.
